Well, there's 3 I'm not sure of....
1. A beat-em-up in the arcades sometime in the early 90's. It was a one on one affair where the characters each had a weapon (chainsaw, axe, etc.). The main feature I can remember was the ability to chop off the limbs of your opponent. I think there was a sort of "punk" character.
2. A side scrolling shoot em up on the Amiga. It was set under water and you had to buy upgrades for your ship. I think one of the ships (or the main one at least) was green and looked like it had a shell.
3. An RPG on the MegaDrive/Genesis. It looked more like a platform game with cutesy graphics. You had a sword and an Ocarina and had to find the right songs to open locked doors. You earned money, upgrades etc. I remember at times you could beam up to heaven to re-fill your health.
I randomly thought of these games the other day when I was talking to my mate. I told him the amount of games I've played through my courier would make him cry.
