Best cable/wireless modem one can buy?

What's a good modem to buy these days? One where I can plug in my cable internet connection and can also detect wireless Internet without extra hardware? thanks.

im still using a 3com card on my computer and basically,ithink it depends on your isp on how big the speeds are.


i just think it all depends if your wired/wireless cards is compatible with your computer(or motherboard).

i answer calls all day on those issues.just make sure you up date those drivers..very important.

Those are routers though, Im happy with a wire running up the stairs for now because Im not sure if my ISP allows modems other than those they provide.
