Im with most people on this, I'd rather be flying around blasting things than sight seeing, taking people on tours or ferrying a box of stuff from point A to point B with bugger all to do in between.
That said, have a look at these screens of Microsoft Flight Sim X. Its hard not to be impressed by them.
