Homebrew DS and other stuff

Postby Silverhaze on Fri Jan 06, 2006 10:50 am

Over on my mistress forum somebody started a DS thread and then they moved onto hacking and homebrew stuff for it.

For those DS owners, especially Yak, have a look at this picture coincidentally posted by a user called The Yak.

Indy and the fate of Atlantis running. A pretty much pixel perfect match for the PC version. Most SCUMMVM titles can be run on the DS.

MI on the move? Yes please!!!

I was wondering how long it was going to take for somebody to try, althougth I didn't think it'd work as well as its website seems to indicate (or that there was such thing as knock-off Yaks on the internet :P). I won't be trying myself though, I don't fancy the prospect of spending a wad of money on flash carts and stuff just for the novelty of having a portable version of games i've already played to death.

If Lucasarts had any sense they would release some of them themselves, the only development cost would be a new interpreter and that'd probably cost less then the advertising budgets of thier last few Star Wars games.
