New PSU question

I just got a new 350W PSU because my old one just fizzled away. The old one was 235W. My question is does this improve my computers speeds in anyway? I mean, does more power make my graphics card run better? Can I overclock now?

Ahh thats what blew eh? Haha my friend at work had his PSU blow up the other day. Actually blew out when we were fiddling with it trying to work out what the problem was. We just ripped one out of another machine.

Anyway its reccomended that you use a 450w power supply these days really. I have a truepower 350w in my machine and when I upgrade and get an x-fi sound card I will also be upgrading the power supply as its pushed enough as it is.

You probably wont notice any difference in performance but you will be able to upgrade your sound of graphics card with more freedom if you get a beefier PSU.
