Any good ps2 games to rent?

you probably know, but i bought myself a ps2.I rented a fee games and i must say they all......"shit"

rented soem game called evertail or green and that was the last straw.anybody here got any suggestions.

There aren't that many good PS2 games that I've played. At least not ones that aren't available for PC as well.

Yeah God of War is pure ownage.

If you have never played an SSX game then I reccomend oh...ALL of them. SSX, SSX Tricky, SSX3 and the newest SSX On Tour.

Frequency or Amplitude if you like rhythm games.

Hmm I havent bought a PS2 game in a while....it depends what you are into really.

Kingdom Hearts is bloody great but not to hire. Its a bit long for that I think.

Platformers - Jak & Daxter 1,2 & 3 and Ratchet & Clank 1, 2 & 3. I prefer R&C though, more humour and better frame rates and stuff.

Obviously if you like the Tony Hawk games then the PS2 is the one to go with because of the pad. All the games are good but THUG1 is probably about the best.

This is exactly the kind of bullshit I would expect from an upgrade whore. The ps2 is cheaper and has a much larger library than the xbox360, when it does come out. Also typically the starting lineup of a new console is weak. What is so amazing in the xbox360's starting lineup which makes it a better buy than the ps2?

I do find it funny that were got a console for which he has no clue as to what he wants in the way of games or what titles will be good bets.

PS2 is six years old now, so yes it is a little bit late to be getting on that bandwagon. It might have a large selection of games, but the life of the console is severely limited. The XBox360 and PS3 and Revolution or whatever it will be called shall too have a large selection someday, perhaps in 6 years we can have this same conversation again.

i got the ps2 when it was on special at walmart for about 140 bucks...considering there are over 150-200 titles i nevered played yet,im itchin to try some new titles that are avaiable

and frankly i dont want to pay 400(AND UP) bucks for a system that MAY have better stats than the ps2,doesnt mean the system will be great to some gamers

and considering i have a good system for a couple of years,why did i need a ps2 anyway back then..well,now the system is starting to show its age

and the games mentioned got my attention..now to get it modded(well..not righ tnow anyway)

Wow who got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? I wont be getting the 360 as soon as it comes out and but what the fuck is up with wanting one? Its a new system and yeah its got a shit selection of games but so did the PS2! Anybody remember The Bouncer? Thank you.

I might get the new X-Box after Crimbo since its back compatable and a fair bit cheaper if you buy it without all the extra shite.

There are some odds and sods from the first one I want that never made it to the PC or Cube and I can always get the new Nintendo as well when the price drops if the Mario games are actually any good this time round.

Hmm yeah DOA4 looks nice but has anybody seen the new 360 pad?

THe good thing about it is it can be used on a PC or an Xbox but the bad thing is that lots of people have been complaining about the space beneath the pad.
Remember the DC pad with its knuckle rubbing slots underneath that only fitted tiny Jap hands and chaffed the knuckes of anybody else using the pad?
Well apparently the new xbox pad is similar to that. Also it has some badly positioned shoulder buttons above the triggers which Ive heard reports of suggesting its positioned even worse than the little purple z button on the NGC pads.

Cant wait to see some games on this thing though. I think I have to buy a car first though although Im starting a new job in 2 weeks which will actually pay me some real money so I should have a wage slip or two by the time the 360 comes out so I'll probably grab one. Then it'll be the other 2 when they come out too so long as Nintendo dont piss about with that stupid tv remote for a pad idea.

You should try talking to some of the users where I work, I had to explain the concept of the password confirmation field to some kid from an ex-commie country who could barely speak enough English to tell me his own name.

Ew kids n computers. Hahaha my nephew can get on my new PC but thats it. My neice isnt allowed anywhere near it and most people are lucky to use it for something as trivial as checking emails.
