emuchina has it but I'm sure it's really slow. Geoshocks message board has a ton of alternate links to try as well.

Not that I think I'll bother with it. I am soooooooooooooooooo tired of KOF. I wish they would stop making them.

Although, I have to admit, I am curious as to what it looks like. Anyone have some screenshots?

I can't imagine it will be all that different, it is on MVS still, isn't it?

You need to use neoragex. And it's very playable, so far I haven't seen any glitches.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this but I think Garou is better than kof2k1. Sure kof2k1 has a ton more characters and has that striker guy but it just doesn't awe me the same GMOTW does.

I'll see if I can get some screen shots for everyone.

KOF is the smellyest and most beaten corpse in videogames, it was good in its day but continiual half-arsed rehashes on crappy archaic hardware is just going to bury the franchise for good.

Lack of diversity and failure to move with the times were probably two of the biggest nails in SNK's coffin, you would of thought that the companys that flocked to pick its bones would of learnt simething from that.

Kind of Ironic that the dump floating about is hack'n'slashed to run on NRX really.

but I have played it

and I haven't started NRX in ages

man that is weird shit
maybe it runs in a GBA emulator?
or ePSXe? god I hate ePSXe, it turns out it just hates my computer, and the savestate/new engine has nothing to do with it!
I also hate that it's the only emu that supports both saving and loading of tactics ogre (and the new engine even makes the game say the save worked instead of it lying and saying it didn't work...)

what good is that in diagnosing what the fuck caused it to LOCK UP ENTIRELY??

is there a program you can leave running that will monitor that shit and then actually have some information for you when you have to restart your computer?

oh yeah, I agree, KOF blows
but I never really liked it
great concept horrible character setup
and leaving in some of the stupid and hard to do super moves is really annoying

that's why Garou:MotW rules, it uses streetfighter alpha supers
and the characters look better, too
and the JD system is almost as cool as the parry of SF3...

KOF started going downhill fast after 98. 99 was decent but if they had stopped at 98 no one would be upset. Now where the fuck is my garou 2? I want to see how these story lines continue dammit!

Ok...well Rock and Freeman are my two favourite characters and both their stories are left open. And IMHO garou had the best system to date in a 2d fighter and i want more dammit.

that game is still in limbo
it was 'announced' during the 'buyout' before the last buyout (or maybe the one before that) but then it skipped on the last buyout as far as making an announcement/appearance

don't most of the 'stories' wrap up in it?
maybe the whole grant/geese thing
but the boss dude dies and everyone goes home and such...(man they really did rip off street fighter)

I agree... as far as SNK fighters are concerned, Garou is the best.

KOF has never really interested me... I like the huge roster, but that's about it.

The game play in Garou is better as are the characters themselves... and there's simply no comparison between the two games animations (Garou obviously being the superior one!)

We?ll have to see how Rage of the Dragons compares? (I doubt it?ll be as good as Garou though?)
