I have roughly half the MAME set in terms of size. Yesterday I downloaded the latest Zipmax and 7zip (DLL needed for compression) and ran them through. It managed to save an amazing 190 megs of space (all of these sets were from Ivwshane). So Ivwshane, I suggest you do the same to save some serious space!

yea last time i tested 7zip was with a shit load of rom sets i got from aceroms..

and i must say, im throughly impressed with that lil proggie.. it can do some major compression.

Wow, sounds impressive. Is it even better than ACE 2.0 compression though? I have to try that out.
