MK soundtracks

Postby RabidYak on Fri Mar 19, 2004 10:13 pm

I've always liked the music from MK2 and 3 (considerably more then the game itself in the case of the later), so I started pissing around with M1 today and came to the conclusion that it wouldent be that hard to put a soundtrack CD together for them with a bit of work.

If anyones interested in a copy once i've finished, let me know and i'll covert and upload them so you can burn your own copy. You wont even have to send money off to dodgey mail-in offers advertised in attract modes.

I really liked the sega cd music extras that came with mortal kombat 1, I don't remember the music on the other two.

Put up a link with a sample.

Almost done now, just got to get round to cobbling together the MK3 attract and end sequences.

If you want to hear what the stuff is like before downloading it, play 'em in MAME for a bit and try and listen around the sound effects. It's pulled directly from the sound ROMs, so what you hear is what you'll get.

LOL nah the original!!

I got the proper sound files, winamp plays em.

I used them for a while during online games and stuff, really funny to play the running out of breath music down the mic at appropriate times lol
