Postby markus on Mon Mar 15, 2004 10:34 pm

The new supported Hyper NeoGeo 64 ROM is called: Buriki One.
The ROM is supported but properly doesn't work yet. All the same really good news! :D

Those arn't pics from MAME, it doesent do much more then load the ROMs and crunch the tilemaps.

I wouldent get even remotly excited about the system, its full of little more then half-arsed 3D versions of the same shitty fighting games that are on the normal NG. Its one of the least interesting or notable things added as GNW recently, but it gets attention because of the usual overinflated worth that is attached to any old crap with the SNK name on it.

LOL, cue thunder and lightning effects.

In more interesting news from the RG frontpage, looks like Stroff is having a crack at properly emulating the evil Nacmo System 2x DSPs. Improvements all round for anything on those boards on the way then, fully emulated Starblade being the most immediatly useful benefit for me.

Still got my fingers crossed that Tokyo Wars will be dumped in time for my next PC.
