Does anyone here have every single MAME rom?

Who would want to?

I just play the game,clock it,then delete it.
I dont think that many games are worth keeping,unless they have great replay value
(Bubble Bobble) brain taxing '(Tetris,check out the pirated Megadrive version!) or
..are just that damned good.

I've only got 3 or 4 hundred for mame and a few for other emulators. Think I've got about 16 for NRX. Jewboy is only a couple of files (for KOF99 I believe) away from the complete set. And that was all done on a 56k modem too.

their aren't that many sites anymore that is dedicated to mame.i think i got over 150+(excluding neogeo).the only place i know that still has them is power emulaton but only from beta12 and up

Me. I've got all 2899 from stretchmame 0.37b14c plus most of b15. Only 3 files from kof99 stop me from the whole set.

I've got a couple hundred MAME roms, I don't ever plan on having a complete set, unless I wanted to build a MAME cabinet somewhere far off in the future, but I don't think so.

I have 332 MAME 135 Neo-Geo, but it only shows up as 127 because that is the max amount, damn wish they would update it.

I was once thinking about sending a few blank discs over to a guy in the UK for will burn his entire collection on there for free (I saw this on the Mame.dk link to the MAME site that tells you where to get ROMS). But I never got round to it really.

I got all the ones at the emuviews, emux, and emunation last year, dunno how many that ended up being, then I lost em all from my move (and the fact they were on my brother's PC, which he deleted, and then went and redownloaded....yeesh)

I got all the MAME set at the EMUX ftp, as well as a few odd CDs here and there of mostly the same 30 or so games I really like

I doubt I'll ever try to get em all, cause there are at least 1,000 I'll never play twice

You're full of good links lately Damian! I've emailed one of the burners, hopefully he can get this done for me. It would be so much more painless than searching for a good rom site.

Hopefully when I go to Australia at the end of the year I'll drop in on Jewboy and see if I can bring a few CDs with me. If you thought trawling the net for ROMS was a pain try flying all the way to Oz for em LOL

Hey Yak, I hear ya brother OH FOR A BURNER my life would be so much easier. Oh for a fat bank account too for that matter.

If I had a burner I could back up my HD and format my PC and finally get it running at full speed again.

How much are cd burners in the UK? They are relatively inexpensive here, you can get one for 100-150$

Just for your knowledge all the mame roms take up 5 cd's at least the original mameb14 did, haven't got around to updating my cd's yet. I'll probably wait till b15 is out and catch up on the missing ones.

Shit, I used to have them all........about 2 years ago. But I got tired of testiing them all, and tracking down the updated ones. I just update when needed, and the death of MameDK has made that task considerably difficult.
