I emailed one of the people at that site a couple of weeks ago, and they never got back to me. I should try emailing one of the other burners.

I couldent do that, it would take the challenge and sense of satisfaction out of getting a complete set.

I had enough challenge when I downloaded Led Zeppelin's complete studio works off of Limewire.

There's not much challenge involved really, just tedium. There are four websites that I know of that contain complete sets. You just have to sit there for hours on end clicking and pointing. No thanks.

I have a couple hundred (MAME) roms, and that's enough. The only way I'm interested in the whole set is if I can get them the easy way.

The only set cd of roms i bought were 3 cds full of Spectrum,Amstrad and C64 disk images.

The authors of the individual games had given permision,so i had no problems with that.

I'd never go for that deal, has anyone ever signed up for one of those get-paid-for-using-the-net things? Seems like a scam to me.

You got that lot off Limewire Adidas? How many times did you have to restart LOL Man, Limewire sucks arse.

I have 402 working roms now and about 27 not working that I need to update sometime. Hopefully I'll get the full set burned in Oz.

It wasn't all one download! My God that would be a big download!

I had a list of songs and albums from a web site, and I downloaded each song individually.

God no!! I downloaded just one album and it took bloody ages.

I just said that because it seems like no matter what you want off limewire it takes you a good few tries before you get something and even then you often get cut off half way through and thats with a dual ISDN connection too.

Out of the hundred or so files I've downloaded off of Limewire, I've been cut off about three times. Many of those files were 10MB+ (and me with 56k )

SH if WM had a dual ISDN you would be getting 112-128 down. As you say you get download speeds of 35kb/s with all network traffic I would say you would need 5-10 times that. Most large companies get a single line fibre optic DSL from 10-100 MB a second depending on their user base.A 64MB a second line costs £25,000 (or so) a year, so they probably have something similar to that.

Yeah I only guessed that because I've used a home ISDN connection once and it was crap. Download speeds of about 5-15kbps on average which I was really unimpressed by. I just assumed this place had 2 lines.

I'm not the only person that downloads stuff here and having multiple PCs downloading at 30-60kbps I assumed it would be a fat connection of some kind.
