gettin very angry with zinc

i have downloaded the zinc emulator and i have downloaded some roms-
i have also downloaded a dat file. I have placed the dat file within the dat folder that is created when i run the emulator. i then place the roms within the rom folder and pick the directory.
When i press play all i c is a black dos window for a couple of secs and then nothing. Nothing happens-no game downloads.
I am using zinc gui and another front end and they are both within the zinc directory.
I have not unzipped the roms by the way.
Does anybody have the slightest idea what the hell is going on?

ok i have found out the problem but i cannot resolve it
it says it is missing the firmware.zip[zn-1.bin] does anybody have a link so i can get this file. it says it needs to be placed within the rom directory

emuchina again...

bios files are in the download section under "Emu Bios" .

no offence tiger, but try looking next time before asking for help - emuchina has everything.

thats ok mate i ended up finding it b4 u posted it, sors to have wasted ure time man, and everything is working so no probs.
emuchina does not have everything-try finding winace for the namco system 21-it does not have that.
it also does not have a few other games i want.

no worries. when suggesting "everything" I was referring to emulated roms. I don't think winace is currently emulated ?

(and they don't have *everything* but most things can be found there).

If its dumped and publically available, then emuchina has it.

Theres no such game as Winace on sys21, your probably getting confused with something else. As far as I know, there isnt an acade game called winace fullstop.

im not getting confused
there is a french emulation site-though i cant understand what it says i can read the name of the games-when i click on modeler-the sge model 1 system-there is winace. it isnt available but its there and it is on that system.

Hey ive seen some guru web site that has tekken tag for the zinc emulator. He hasnt released it yet as the emulation isnt complete, but it seems to be comming along nicely

AS RY said there is no winace game on the system 21 unit, either the files were in winace format (haha) or you are getting confused with winning run:

I played the game hes on about in my local kebab shop. It involves streams of data flowing towards the bottom of the screen. You have this little tool with which you have to decompress the streams of data with button combinations.

Im surprised you've all not heard of this. Its pretty cool. Music based and you have to score strings of combos to score big time.

Im working on getting it going in Emuhaze as we speak.
