Yep, you can now delete your entire ROM and CHD collection as you no longer need any actuall game code to run anything in MAME.

Nope.

You might be getting confused with the old img format drive images used by that shitty hackoramic KI simulator KIAME/U64.

Theres no point in pissing around with a zip drive if your still going to network your machines, just set up a shared directory on each machine and copy them directly across.

If your not networking them, just temporarly plug your HD into the other machine and copy them between drives. It'd be a bloody lot less hassle then a dozen trips with a zip drive.

LOL If only that were the case! Id paint it white and tell her it was a new mini fridge for my beers.

Unfortuneately shes doing a Computing degree DOH!!

Funny though, I still know more than her through personal experience and shes learned in the last 2 years at university. Just goes to show how they never teach you anything that might come in handy one day. Like how to format, install memory and new HDs.

I did a Math/Computing degree. All I learned from it was where the unibar was :)
Cheers,

I did business studies with commercial and criminal law. They tried to teach us Maslow's Heirarchy of needs. Basically its motivation theory saying that people need shelter, food, security blah blah blah. My answer was always 'Give a man a wad of cash and he'll work for days regardless'

I still stand by that.

Law was good though. We learned how to get away with murder and got to hear about all these weird and wonderful cases. My personal fav was the girl that drunk a bottle of gingerbeer (why I dont know?!?) but anyway... when she got to the bottom of the bottle a partially decomposed snail plopped out. LMAO!!! Thats a classic!!
