Rare stuff on the MAME WIP

Postby RabidYak on Mon Mar 24, 2003 4:19 pm

Cant wait until the latest game on the MAME WIP page gets added -

http://www.mame.net/wip

Tatooo Assasins, Data East's unreleased MK rip-off that is almost legendry for being a game that was too shit for human consumption. Pretty damn impressive that they managed to get hold of a board for a complete dump, especially considering there are only meant to be 4 in existance.

Some other intresting odds and ends there as well, more Konomi stuff and some assorted Namco things.

Ah, Tattoo Assasins. That game has come up more than once in conversation. I'll be interested to see what that's like- assuming it will run on my machine.

Damn! I just checked the WIP and that game looks ultra-cheesy!

Apparently it has more death moves than an ebonics teacher on crack, awaiting with interest.

I'll have to try and get to somebody's house for this one LOL

Some of the other stuff looks interesting too. Might collect it for the day in the distant future when I get a spankin new pc and can play some of the stuff I download.

The pre-release press propaganda said that its supposed to have 25 fatalitys per character. I'll be seriously impresssed if it actually has anywhere near that amount and they are mostly different, even if the game is a big pile of pants.

The bastard is going to be the lack of movelists, but I should imagine there will be a few people with the time and will to chase the moves down.

How the hell do people work that shit out?!?
I cant work out even the basic moves in the MK games.
I can get the odd one here and there but thats about it.

The finishing moves were a lost cause, R, R, R, L, U, U Punch and crap like that! Not the kind of thing you do by accident really.
