Lock up your HDs, new MAME WIP

Postby RabidYak on Sat Feb 01, 2003 9:37 pm

New MAME WIP (http://www.mame.net/wip) means new Mahjong Porn, as well as a couple of other things of note.

Completists better get a new HD, Area 51/Maximum Force Duo just got added. Yes, thats both of those fucking enormus Atari HD games all in one go. Exepct 1.75 gigs worth of .chd downloading action for that.

Some processor excercising fun in there as well with DE's Avengers fighting game. Same sort of shitty fake 3d as KI running on one of thier 32-bit RISC MLC boards.

More authentic nostalgia for SH, with raster effect fixes for Ed Randy.

In other news, ElSemi has got the 2B version of Dynamite Cop working properly. Funny to see this game done before its predacesor, nothing quite like main event hardware needing less PC power and getting useably emulated earlier then its low-budget whipping boy alternative.

That sucks!!!

If anyone knows where to get the correct images please tell me so I can put it up on my FTP.

2003-01-29: Aaron Giles added Area 51 / Maximum Force Duo to the Cojag driver (your HDDs are obsolete now) and fixed the reset problems. Malice submitted patches to the Jaleco Mega System 32 driver, making Ryuusei Janshi Kirara Star and Hayaoshi Quiz Ouza Ketteisen boot but they aren't playable yet. Bryan McPhail fixed some compiling problems that happened with Visual C.

You already have them, the update is refering to your actual HD being obsolete because the image for duo is so damn big.

Maybe we can bribe SH's mate with the ninja PC and the megabit net connection to D/L it and send us copies on DVD-Rs. :D
