Well it looks like it's the real thing!

The first link contains kof2k2 with the sound roms from 2k1. I'm still downloading from the second link, hopefully the sound will be perfect but I doubt it.

Here are some screenshots;

Sorry about the scanlines but that's how I like to play.

np. I *think* the second one is the original and the one you've played is actually hacked to work. But I'm not sure

AND the first one updated with the KOF2002 V roms, but no m1 yet. So you still have to use kof2001 v/m

Does this one actually do anything interesting, or is it just another typical NG copy and paste job?

Thanks to both ivwshane for hosting the roms (which I'm currently downloading :) ) and to Class for posting them.

Hopefully this is a pretty good Neo game.

BTW - I actuallly liked MS4, it's not the best of the series (MS3 is) but it's still good... here's hoping to a much better MS5 though.

Thanks again guys.

So is this now a complete dump? Because everything seems fine, the sound and the graphics all seem like they are perfect.

Depends how you define ?complete?. If you mean perfectly working then I guess that would be it. But if you mean pure dump then unfortunately that?s a far cry from it :(

I don't think they dumped it all correctly, or some bits are hacked.

They are supposed to be making it... it was announced in an ad from SNKNeoGeo that also mentioned SNK VS Capcom and another fighter whose name I can?t even remember, but given how quickly their games are being released now (MS4, ROTD and KOF2k2), I doubt they'll continue to develop for the NG hardware assuming they want to make money like most normal businesses do!

Personally I think they should adopt new Hardware... something like Nintendo's Triforce board or whatever that PS2 based board was called.
