mame is screwed up

I had that same prob. All I did was return the emu to defaults and everything has been good since then. What version are you running and are you running multiple versions? (eg. Mame32, Mame32 plus, etc.)

i'm running mame 32 t

the game runs when i default the options, but then the controls give way for some reason, it's quite bizzare. i think i might have two mames in the same folder. i'll check on that

evere since i updated to mame 6.0 i keep getting the stupid following error:

"error: invalid value for debugres
error while parsing cmdline"

i figured out that i can get it stop doing it by default the options, but then the controllers will stop working, and then later the error will starft coming up again.

could somone help me here?

Right. Well for the last few versions MAME32 has had a nasty bug in the options directory; this time it effects controls. Nothing we can do to help that except hope they fix it, but here is how to reset your copy:

START> RUN > "regedit"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Freeware > MAME32

Delete MAME32 for powerups.
