Gigawing? Interesting ;) I've never played it yet but I've wanted to for a while.

This could be the first decent release of XORs in a long time, IMO.

Maybe the last too. What's left, Mars Matrix?

A couple more shooters, a few third-party puzzle games and a part-mechanial Street Fighter Whack-a-Mole game.

XORs for the more recent stuff wont be much use at the moment though, newer CPS-2 B boards store thier graphics data on memory SIMMS (probably leftovers from when they axed CPS-3) which nobody has worked out how to dump yet.

Still, I havent really given a monkeys about new XOR releases for ages. The WIP pics of Steel Talons and the Hard Drivin' Airbourne proto over at Aaron Giles' site are far more interesting then another identikit vertical shooter as far as I am concerned.

Wont that Hard Drivin game run slow on most PCs like the last one?

Yeah, but its still an impressive bit of techincal emulation which is a far higher feat then trojaning an encrypted board to find a back door to avoid actually doing the legwork.

Not to mention that emulating an older game that was never put into production is of far more interest and significance then a general release generic shooter which is still fairly warm from the factory and available for home systems.
