Check out the new capcom 3D fighter pics!

I know some of you don't like fighting games but I do and I love capcom, check out the page here as well as the screenshots!
It looks to be a street fighter generations type with similar play to the sfexpa series.

Good grief, they better be doing this from the ground up rather then basing it on those godawful EX games.

Still, its about bloody time that Mike Haggar was in new game and this is more interesting then looking at another shit new NG game.

I lost my love of fighting games when they became more complicated than landing a Harrier on a aircraft carrier while blindfold.

Thats why I enjoy DOA3, just the right amount of complication for the occasional battle with friends.

Shame those pics are so grainy.

LOL, I bet the missus was well impressed with DOA3's realistic calculations on the movement of spherical objects.

Anyway, i'm waiting for MK5 more then anything at the moment. That will be far better then any new 3D Street Fighter game if they can manage to get thier act back together.

Yeah she loves em! She especially likes the end of battle zoom facility that foucuses strangely right on the chest of the winner.

MK5? I've not heard anything about that.

i hate that. that's the root of what's wrong with all fighting games these days.

i remember when street fighter used to be a fun game to play against people, now it's become all about who can pull the best 963,545,389,9849 combo, it got annoying real quik.
that's what i liked about SNK, they're games(excluding the KODHB series) are more about style, but yet at the same time, they manage to keep a unique sense gameplay.
another good example of this is the Guilty Gear series, and more underated series like Queen Of Hearts. i say focus more on style, and uniqueness, you'll get more people playing.

that's my 2 cents

Guilty Gear X for DC is awesome, smooth graphics and just complex-enough gameplay.

Street Fighter is due for an overhaul (again) I hope they get it right this time. Though I have to admit CVSSNK2 was good.

Mortal Kombat has been due for an overhaul ever since they came out with MK3. If they screw up MK5 I wouldn't be surprised.

They've not said much about it aside from a few character confirmations and that the test your might bonus stanges are going to be back. Theres a Preview video and a few shots floating around as well, looks pretty decent from those.

Holy shit, I just checked midways site and they seemed to have done a flash website for it and released a load more detials since I last looked. check it out -

http://www.midway.com/futuretense_cs/flash/mkda/launch.html

Check some of the guys on the character roster - Sub-Zero, Scorpian, Sonya, Kano, Shang Tsung, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Jax, Baraka and Kitana. Good to see thier bring back most of the proper characters rather then concentrating on introducing a load of crap new ones like they did in MK3 and 4.

Capcom can shove thier new game up thier arses for all I care now, this is where the action is going to be at.
