I seriously doubt they will get M2 games running at full speed full textures before summer 2003. Infact I'm willing to bet on it.

We might! I don't believe the the model 2 stuff is even half as complicated as the saturn.

They will probably have the graphics system going to some useable degree within 3 or 4 months, going by the most recent shots they are doing pretty well on the rendering system.

Speed isnt an issue, Processors are always getting faster and every system has a requirement line that cant be crossed. Besides, we all know that compensating for uncapable PCs with over-optimisation always leads to useless shit like NRX and UltraHLE.

Not even remotley as complicated, ST-V/Saturn is a monster of a system with dual SH-2s and a massively complicated top-end 2D graphics system. Model 2 is basically a main processor, a graphics processor and a number cruncher.

We'll have usable Model 2 emulation donkeys before ST-V.

I happened to enjoy NRX. Its the emu that got me into emulation in the first place.

Good in its day.

But here's to hoping they optimize the hell out of it! I'm not upgrading for a long, long time :(

If someone took NRX and transformed it into a l337 project I would cream in my pants right here and now and send it to the lead coder. Well... >.>...<.<...o.o...I would be happy. ^^
