Looking for an old game ...

Postby ace on Tue Jul 16, 2002 10:27 am

I am looking for an old arcade game. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. It was a side and vertal scroller. The first level was mostly left to right ending with a battle with a giant skeleton (pretty easy to beat if you picked up the right power-up). The last level involved an intricate dance around a pair of giant hands that clapped trying to kill you.

When your character died, a capelike object fell to the ground.

The entire second-last level took place in/on a castle where (among other things) you had to foght lion-head statues that spit fireballs at you.

Does anyone remember the name of that game ?

Thanks in advance if you can help me.

Thanks for the reply, were, but that's not it. I looked at phelios on mamefans (for the screenshot) and, alas, no.

In the meantime, asmodius identified it for me.

Legend of Hero Tonma.

Thanks, asmodius
