Thats good to know but it looks like there are only 2 players currently in this comp as I tried all the games and was really shit lol

Practice makes perfect I suppose.

Yeah trog i'll be in on that. Loved that game in the arcade.

I just played trog and the score still continues with extra credits so i think it should not be in the comp.

Here's an update to galaga

That's a great idea, I had no idea someone had made a site like that.

My Mario Bros. score would give me an unconfirmed 5th, since all I have is a screenshot.

Wow, some guy has damn near 1 million on Galaga.

I might fiddle around with it one day, but I'm content with the little competition we have now

We have to pick some new games... I'm getting tired of Mario and Galaga!

Maybe we should let someone else pick some games so there's more than two people posting scores.

I find it quite interesting that the "arcade King" of proliferation has not graced us with his scores that he surely must have been reserving since 1997.

Ok.

#1 That account is down JB. Theglobe.com is going under.

#2 I will try to beat one of your other scores now, since no one has picked any other games! I like this informal competition we have going.

If your refering to me, I dont have any scores to particularly shout about. 44k is about my best on galaga and im rank at Mario and Asteroids.

Ive got 33k on Tempest and about 14k on Dig Dug, but I doubt those are particularly good.

Maybe there should be an endurance division for stuff like Trog and Smash TV.

Same here, although my scores are pathetic. But don't forget to be impressed by my Centipede score way up above us.

Yeah I love smash TV!! Lets do that one.

Can somebody post up what the button config should be though when using a pad with a button layout like a PSX pad?

Indeed. The buttons have got to be placed exactly like a PSX pad for it to work propery
(in a + formation).

U - Left Stick Up
D - Left Stick Down
L - Left Stick Left
R - Left Stick Right

Triangle/Top Button - Right Stick Up
Cross/Bottom Button - Right Stick Down
Square/Left Button - Right Stick Left
Circle/Right Button - Right Stick Right

DAmn is it that easy? I never would have asked but I thought I remembered STV having a stick and 4 buttons rather than 2 sticks.

I was expecting the button config screen to list them in the usual way with button numbers.

BIG MONEY, BIG PRIZES, IIIIIIII LOVE IT!!

Let the endurance roll on. Plus maybe we should have a new thread or even forum where each subject could be a different game.

STV and Total Carnage used the same dual-stick control setup as Robotron, which was developed when one of the engineers broke his wrists in a car accident.

Yeah we should start up a couple of new threads for this, maybe a topic for each "division" (Endurance, Classic, Shooter etc..). I'd buy that for a dollar.
